Per AB 2881, all students who care for dependents under 18 qualify for priority registration. 

For new students (or current student who have not yet registered), priority registration will be for Spring Quarter 2025. The deadline to register for spring quarter priority registration is Thursday, January 30, 2025. Once you receive priority registration, you will have priority each quarter until you graduate (you do not have to apply each quarter). 

Once you complete the SPF Intake Priority registration form the SPF program will certify that you are eligible for priority registration based on one of the following documentation:

1. Copy of the dependent’s birth certificate (if you’re not listed on the birth certificate you must attach verification of your custodial / guardian / adoption status.)
2. Copy of a custody agreement, if applicable
*Scanned, digital copies, and photos are accepted. *For security purposes please do not email the documentation. We will view the document in person of via zoom.
